A Polish JavaScript developer, has announced onGameStart, the “First conference completely about HTML5 game development.”

The conference is still in its planning stages but has already secured talks from a handful of JavaScript luminaries such as Dominic Szablewski, creator of the ImpactJS engine, and Andreas Røsdal, creator of Freeciv.net. The onGameStart website lists nine speakers next to additional slots will presumably be filled at a later date.

Talks have not yet been announced. However, given the impressive spread of speakers, topics will most likely include useful HTML5 game development fare: canvas programming, WebGL, game engines, tools, and performance techniques. It’s unclear if the talks will be available online.

Michal Budzynski, a Polish JavaScript programmer and the organizer of the conference, first announced the conference in April on his blog. Early bird tickets are sold out but regular tickets are on sale for € 79.00 (about USD $113 at the time of this writing).
